Whole thing is online: pbs.org
This aired on 11/05/13. I missed it but a friend tweeted the link.

I actually stumbled across this the night it aired and got fully sucked in. DVR'd it and watched it a second time. Damn he was one of those of genius musicians who were destined for greatness from the get-go.

Just finished watching this, and it's very good. Gave me some insight on Hendrix that I didn't really know about before (like how shy/humble he actually was when he wasn't on stage). And obviously the music throughout was great.
Definitely worth the watch.

I saw it twice. It repeats on PBS every year. Good show. I was surprised how shy and down to earth he was off stage. I was really surprised to see he had been in the Army and was patriotic and for defeating the Communists in Viet Nam. Really different now days. He is the best guitar player that ever lived. I've played since '68/69 and I know he's the best ever.
