i am trying to watch this and just find it boring as hell and so repetitive show after show, the same old same old.
its no longer about the bikes but they are trying to make it about the guys making the bikes and running the business.
what made the show for me back when it started was it was all about the bikes and the creativity that went into them. you got to see it as it was created and saw the raw imagination turn into something great. now none of that is in the shows any more.
every show is watching sr and the design guy talk about stuff then they spend 5 minutes on a build, enter someone does something to cause a major setback on the time schedule, magically without explanation all is well again then you see a finished bike. hell for all we know another shop could have and actually may have built it and they just pretend its their guys who built it.
what is the point of having a show about building bikes if the building of the bike is only 5% of the show

I got tired of how every single show every bike was a monumental undertaking with a very tight deadline.
Not to mention every project there was always a talking head segment in which they would mention that this was the most fabrication they had ever done on a bike.

Here's the script for a show like this
Bright and sunny opening with a customer's vision of how he wants something built
The team takes on the task and acknowledges that it's going to be the hardest thing yet
Right before the 2nd commercial (about the 18 minute mark of a 30 minute episode), something accidental happens that puts the deadline in jeopardy.
Commercial ends and they are frantically scrambling to fix the problem
They fix the problem
Customer is pumped and excited
Show ends

Seems every one of these type shows has a resident idiot on staff. With this show it was the brother "Mikey". I haven't watched this new show, so don't know if he's still part of it but got tired of all the fighting on the old show.
Pawn Stars it's Chum Lee
Misfit Garage it's that fat arse guy Tom
Count's Customs you have Horny Mike and his sidekick Rolli

Watched an episode this afternoon, was much better when Sr and Jr were at each others throats.
