Sean Penn = most overrated actor of alltime.
The guy over acts in everything he does and people call it genius. He was absolutely laughable in this movie, way way over hte top with the hand gestures and everything.
The guy is a total joke. I love how during Katrina when he came to "help" he just so happened to have his camera man along so that everyone knew how much he was "helping". What a fricking douche.

I think if someone like Oliver Platt was cast as Stark the movie would have been infinitely better. Stark should have more pudgy/dumpy and likable. Penn played him wired up and intense and it ruined the movie.
A politician like Penn played in public would never have been as popular as Long was with the common folk. Long was popular because he was homespun and folksy in public and he was intense and driven in private.
