My early question with this movie is why is it still called 300?

That shite looks awesome and I will see it in the theaters.

I don't understand though. At the end of 300, they have 30,000 greeks chargeing the Persians.

Where does this story fit in with the sequel?

The film stars returning actors Lena Headey and Rodrigo Santoro, as well as new leading man Sullivan Stapleton, and Eva Green. It looks like the film takes place concurrently with the first one, focusing on the Battle of Artemisium instead of the Battle of Thermopylae, which was the focus of the first film. The Battle of Artemisium was comprised of naval battles, hence the trailer's abundance of ships ramming into each other and bloody bodies falling into the ocean.

Another shitty movie people will go see. Somehow how much history people know in the future is going to be severely effected by shitty movies sadly.

When trying to act too smart for an entertaining movie, you should probably learn the difference between the noun effect and the verb affect.

I wonder if they will have Spartans commanding the ships. I read a bunch of shite about that war a long time ago, and from what I remember, the Athenians were entirely responsible for the naval battle that essentially won the war.

Gonna be hard to top the first one. God help me had there been a place to sign up for a branch of the military outside the theatre. I'd be enlisted right now; I was ready to throw down

Looks like it could be as bad as Sucker Punch. Or worse.

That's confusing though. Why is Cersei in this movie if she was just chilling in Sparta while the battle in 300 was taking place? Plus, you can see the scar on Xerxes's face from the spear throw.

Either way, that trailer is badass.

I know you were being sarcastic, but Inglorious Basterds was not good.

not sure haven't really looked into it. I guess either they will explain it or it will just be a major plot hole that carson can use to tell us how much it sucks

Sorry. There are few directors I think are more overrated than Tarantino and few directors I hate with such passion as Zack Snyder. I know he didn't direct this movie, but he did write it.

I watched 300 in theaters and was totally jacked afterward. I really enjoyed it. Then I watched it a second time and I thought it dragged arse a bit. A final, third watch confirmed that the movie was complete shite, despite my initial impressions.
