I'd have to agree with this even though Im not that old. 90s and 70s rock were the best ever.

I like both, and I was born in 81. I still listen to those albums. I just have no desire to see old men trying desperately to recapture some glimmer of their youthful energy. It's fricking sad.

And for all you guys saying that there is no good music today, there is plenty of great music out there. You just have to go find it. Record labels are not going to spoon feed it to you anymore. They've lost control, and musicians are now in control of their product--for better or worse. We are entering a golden age.

That's probably another reason older acts show up for these benefits. They are still beholden to the labels that put these things on...or at least still in the rolodex.

Lol at the 10 minute sets. They know who no one care about.

Billy Joel 30 minutes.

I would give any amount of money for 5 minutes in bed with Alicia Keys (would really only need about 30 seconds if I'm being honest).

Oh I agree. Plenty of good bands out there. Just my favorties are mainly from the 90s. But right now: QOTSA, Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, Shins, Jack White, etc...I was born in 86 so I grew up with late 90s and early to mid 2000s.

I haven't seen Alicia Keys in a while. She's trying real hard to look like a white woman.
