They used to do this in early 80’s interview coaches players in game. That’s what the people like Lampley would do.

The NFL could certainly adapt a few of these things for the fans to have a better experience.

Aren’t onsides you get 3 downs to gain 15 yards and if you miss the D gets the ball at spot of last down.

You have to inform the officials if you want to onside

That would just be a free possession essentially

I don’t think that’s rhe case

I think onside kicks are normal you just can’t do a surprise
