It would be cool to see more HS 7 on 7 in the spring if it was organized.
Now this I like

This is why I liked NFL Europe. It was summer football.

I think if there was a national association of state tournaments, with each tournament having the same rules, you could easily have a national 7 on 7 tournament each year which, because football rules all, would get TV ratings and headlines.
The question is, do you allow all star teams since technically you can't compete for your school out of season, or make school "clubs" since 7 on 7 is not a traditional sport?

In this hypothetical of course I would, because then CFB and the NFL would take over both Saturdays AND Sundays in their respective seasons. The problem is that CFB goes from August/September to January.
It would be FREEZING in the B1G and ACC Big East games.
And I like Bowl Games over Xmas since everyone can take those weeks off basically

You could probably get by with the club thing. Or maybe do like a few of the schools around here did with their baseball teams every summer for travel ball, basically have the high school team with maybe one or two more players who tried out and made the squad playing for a private sponsor. But I guess that would open the door for all-star teams.
