KQ loses to AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ
but its 50-50 with JJ, 1010, 99
and im pretty bad so i want to take a 3/8 chance im 50-50 to make the final table.

Monumental blowup by hewitt. Congrats to the November 9. @BenbaLamb , @USCphildo and gianetti played great.

I'm out for a while. Let me know on fb if you're coming tomorrow night, and about Thursday.

Pretty interesting post from Erick Lindgren yesterday:
"If you are watching the wsop coverage the czech player Staszko has 12k when the bubble broke. Folded about 40 hands in a row on bubble."
Now he has $40 mil in chips and the lead of the FT.

I'm still dumbfounded by Hewitt's call.
Posted on 7/20/11 at 8:46 pm to 9Fiddy
What cards did Hewitt have and what was he up against when he got canned?
Posted on 7/20/11 at 8:49 pm to pwejr88
Hewitt lost big with k-q vs k-k
Posted on 7/20/11 at 8:49 pm to TigerLicks
Why are people saying his call was so stupid??
Posted on 7/20/11 at 8:51 pm to pwejr88
It wasn't when he got canned, it was what put him in the short stack.
Bruhaha (i know that's spelled wrong) was one of the shorter stacks, but was covered by Hewitt by about 4 mill. Bru had been folding all night, and played ultra tight waiting for the right hand. Hewitt in early position raised, bru thought it over and shoved. Hewitt called and turned over KQ off suit. Of course Bru had KK and it held up.
Just completely terrible in that situation.

Because he had no choice but to win that hand. If he called and lost, he would have been crippled beyond recovery. You don't risk your entire tourney on KQ off when you know the guy who shoved sure as hell isn't risking his tourney on a shite hand.

and Bouhnarra was the tightest player by far

They're replaying that hand b/t Hewitt and Bounahra right now. WHAT AN IDIOT!
