If you really want to learn...

I would suggest starting with Harrington on Cash Games 1&2. You need both. Easy reads and Harrington is a great teacher.

You should really learn cash before tournament as Cash will force you to improve your post flop reads.

Why are we watching Day 4 replay right now? Is it a break? Or did I miss them getting to 27?

about to order these from amazon, along with Harrington on Online Cash Games; 6-Max No-Limit Hold 'em but also thinking about ordering Gus Hansen: Every Hand Revealed. his play intrigues me.

ive never really read much of a book, i have supersystem and read a little bit of it. I recommend playing as much as you can and watching the best as much as you can.

I've got both. Harrington on online cash is very good. I read that before I read Harrington on Cash 1&2. Hansen is a crazy sonofabitch and his book just proves that fact. I also enjoyed Angel Largay's No Limit Hold em a Complete Course. He has a lot of good drills to improve your flop reading skills and stuff. His book is more of a way to think your way around a live table and read opponents. He also has an interesting method for keeping fish interested in the game even when they are losing money. A must read for any grinder. I've been sitting on Professional No Limit Hold em by Ed Miller for about a month now. but I haven't opened it yet. I've heard great things tho.

I went busto about a month ago when I went on a really bad run for 7 days straight. The week was just a sustained train wreck from start to finish. So I've been taking a break from the tables, but watching the WSOP has awakened the poker demon again. Time to get my roll back up and take another shot or two.
