I believe he was suspended and all that because of everything that happened surrounding MJ during that time period, but is there overwhelming evidence where we can state it as fact, as we seem to be doing here?

I'm just pointing out that the league manipulates the media in order to manufacture consent.

I can't think of a modern athlete who was treated better by the media than Jordan. He was a modern day Babe Ruth in that sense.
