this is a great point - but this thread demonstrates in a very small way why it's going to be an ongoing issue for Goddell deciding how to proceed for each and every case of bad behavior by by a NFL player
it's going to end up looking arbitrary from case to case because the commissioner's judgment appears to be the rule - not a rule written down somewhere
