And Lendale, and that awesome tight end they had (I believe it was Dominique Byrd), and many others. Too bad they couldn't have kept Mike Williams in 2004. Would have been even more damning.

Okay so Arky didn't have McFadden in their 2006 game against USC, and lost 50-14. They were fricked either way.

For anybody here to say this Bama team would have had no chance against '04 USC is a fricking joke. In fact, I'd put the last 7 SEC teams against that USC team.

Since I'm not fact checking the intricacies of USC's "dynasty" squads from 2003-2005, I'm not going to make terribly bold claims; so I tread softly when talking about just how great USC was in those years. But for some reason I remember their 2005 defense being shite, at least compared to 2004. Plus JLSIX is debating their 2004 squad.

When we were talking about how USC was steamrolling SEC teams, you were complaining that Arkansas was playing without McFadden, so I had to clarify that McFadden wouldn't have contributed too much because USC destroyed them anyway.
