its never chris paul's fault
Feel free to point out all of the underachieving teams he's been on that should have gone much further than they did.

Top 1 IMO

A franchise cornerstone? I disagree. That would mean he could be a legit #1 option. You're going nowhere with Griffin as your #1 option.

an athletic big man in jordan. savvy vet caron butler. past his prime but still effective chancey billups and his leadership and a very good bench. not many teams boast these types of assets. and blaming the coach is fricking weak

And they're 3rd best team in their conference, at best.

So, why would you expect his team to get anywhere past the 2nd round?

People love Jordan because of the alley oops.

Which he wouldn't be catching nearly as often if he wasn't with Paul.

Paul pretty much engineers this whole thing. He's a legit superstar. Blake Griffin is probably too, but I don't know if he's a team carrying type. He's the Chris Bosh piece... a very good player that needs other GREAT pieces to excel (team success, anyhow).

Guys like LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Paul pretty much win no matter what other people you put on the court with them.
