Why so many coaching changes?

It started in College Basketball, went to COllege Football, went to NBA, and now NFL.
Why are there so many firings and changes? Is this due to the what have you done for me lately mentality? Is it bad loyalty to a school(college)? Is it because the owners, AD's need to change to "bring back the magic" per say.

It's going to slow down across the board soon with the recession. buyouts will no longer be affordable.

i think the TD coaching changes board has a lot to do with this ...
seriously .. the $$$$ are why you are seeing coaches lose their jobs so quickly today ... it was different in college football back in the day before title IX when you were paying the head football coach $85K and didn't have to fund all of these sports ... now, with coaches making 1 to 4 million a year and with having to fund 20+ sports programs off of only football .. these programs can't afford too many 4-8/5-7 seasons ... i'll get shot for saying this .. but les miles is on the hot seat in 2009 ..

I dont think you will be shot saying that. Anyone making the money Miles is and has a year like he has had in the SEC will be on the hot seat.

I said it during our collapse this year. If the team plays as heartless as they did this year next year, Miles needs to be shown the door quickly.
But, I think he'll turn it around. Starting off with moving his co-DCs on to other jobs and then by hiring Chavis, Oregeron, and whoever else we get. But, if the D looks like it did this year and the team quits on him again. It could get ugly fast.

It's the way the world is these days. I want it all and I want it now is the mentality.

I'd like to know what magic the AD at Auburn plans to bring back.
