Keep seeing the Derrick Rose Powerade ad, still top 10 in jersey sales etc. yet he hasn't been relevant as a player since he fell in Philly. Is there a sub pop culture cult for him or something?

I think it's because most of the companies have so much $ invested in him, they're going to milk it for all it's worth. Regardless of his current performance.

I think this too. Add the Chicago large market angle and you can still market him to a point and recoup.
