Bayou why are you stirring this? It is dumb. UL and LSU have valid points. You are just making yourself look like a Wal-Tiger.
Are we even sure who wrote the message on the grease board? What if it was a Selu or Nicholls student?

Just messing with ULL fans. It's fun. I have nothing againist them. Trust me I was pulling from them on Saturday night and thought the end of the game was epic!
Btw, I Caught an interview with Jake Delhomme on the Texans pre-game radio show and the reporter said I know you went to UL Lafayette but since you're from Louisiana are you much of an LSU fan? Delhomme says no I can't really say I am, I don't root for them and never have. I know there's not a rule that says everyone from Louisiana has to like LSU, just found his response odd. Example I was rooting like hell for ULL in their bowl game on Saturday night and haven't spent a single day on ULL's campus.

So is it odd if say Bert Jones said he never cheered for UL? Just because he voiced his opinion doesn't mean it's wrong. I went to SMS worked at SMS lived in Missouri but wasn't a MU fan.

You just proved to me what I already thought. You can't handle little brother getting some spotlight. It's okay that you think this way, but it's dangerous, as history repeats itself. LSU will slide again, as will UL.

I know was at Sugar Bowl 04 BCSNCG 08 so been there. But it's attitudes like yours that make the slide more possible. As for America's Team, LSU doesn't sniff that distinction. It is not an elite Nike program, so until it gets that backing, it won't be Americas team. Can you even name what LSU wore before Nike? Why they wore brand X? Who got Nike to become involved with LSU?

I agree it's a bit ridiculous. But so is the LSU fans and ULM fans going out of their way to remind UL fans that they are ULL. I think I remember you being a ULM fan on this board. Idk if that is because you were trying to start shite with UL fans or if you're a legit ULM fan. But ULM fans do the same thing. They write and boycott newspapers that call us UL. LSU fans go out of their way to make sure we know our place. Whether that's trolling a UL message board, walking into UL's student section wearing purple and gold, and everything in between.

The part I bolded describes those schools you listed at the beginning of the paragraph. LSU fans don't give them shite because they don't give a shite and have no interest in growing their school (at least in athletics). UL is one of the few schools in the state not named LSU that is trying to improve in athletics. I mean you have UL, LaTech and that's about it. everyone else is content with sucking. And I've heard the same hatred coming from Tech directed toward LSU. I've even heard a little of it coming from Monroe. So don't tell me UL fans are the only school that think like that because I've heard it from other places outside of Lafayette.
Can you really blame UL for wanting to be called UL or Louisiana athletically? Before you only quote that question and respond, hear me out. Like I said earlier, UL and Tech are really the only schools in Louisiana not named LSU that gives two shits about their athletic program. Why the hell would we want to be associated with those other schools like Monroe who don't care about athletics? It's not about trying to be more like LSU, it's more about not wanting to be associated with those schools and personal growth. Most of the hatred of LSU comes from those fans thinking LSU is getting in the way of that and associating UL with those schools and belittling them.

there are 8 schools in th louisiana university school system. ull is just one of them. i think they have a short mans complex at ull wanting to be called the university of louisiana. ain't gonna happen don't insult the other 7 schools.
