Let’s do the math here

Nearly zero reporting that Rodgers wanted out this year until the draft. Then the draft starts and schefter and 20 other plugged in reporters begin flowing in information

So if Schefter is telling the truth, he is the only reporter during this time to ever get sent this info, and for the first time in his career he decides not to report it because it’ll be a bigger story for the draft. And it just so happens that the draft is also when every other source gets informed of all this as well.

Schefter and similar guys on that level of reporting lose sleep over getting scooped on waiver wire transactions every week. But this one time for the biggest story of the year, he’s going to squat on the story for bigger ratings? Nah man that doesn’t add up for me

If Rodgers wanted to properly pressure the packers to make this move, he would’ve done it immediately in the beginning of the offseason and if Schefter was squatting on the info (which he would never do) he would’ve simply given it to Ian Rapport to scoop the info out instead
