Kind of bullshite if he comes down on the Spurs when the team his league owned was blatantly tanking last year.

Popovich knows that if he wants his team to have it's legs in May-June, it doesn't do to have the core playing a ton of minutes a 4th road game in 5 nights. He's done this sort of thing for years, as they have aged.

What rules did they violate?

They are telling coaches who to play and when now?

None. His own replacement said this was fine back in April and it happens every year in different ways. He'll be setting a bad precedent if he does anything.

He's probably asked Roger Goodell for advice on this situation.

the thing is, this probably helped ratings on TNT more than anything. This is absolutely terrible scheduling though so i understand what pop is doing; he does this a lot anyways.

Miami also had four days to rest before this game

eta: also losing to an east squad means a lot less than a game vs the grizzlies. props to pops

This is what the Spurs 4th road game in 5 days? And 10th road game of the month. Maybe you morons in the front office need to do a better job.

The Spurs are winning after 1 QTR btw

All 9 players that dressed have played.

Matt fricking Bonner, and Tiago Splitter lead SA with 6 points a piece

ETA: I bet Pop is pumping these dudes up, telling them this is their time to shine and give a big frick YOU to Stern.

o my, i think the spurs and heat are both beyond really caring about one game in november.

these guys take off all the time in nov-dec-jan even when they are on the court.
