You're too young to remember the glory years in the 80's. They are hated for a reason although the current program is a shell of its former self.

For inventing this "swagga" crap. STFU until you do something. At least the old Miami squads could back up their talk. Even if they were 500 in bowl games and couldn't hold a 31 point lead against Maryland...

Swagga is nothing but attitude. Its the new buzz word for the 16-20 year old demographic. It aint shite if you can't play.

Don't get me wrong. That school used to back up the talk. It was the most dominant program I have seen in my lifetime. The hate was a combination of the "swagga" talked about ad nauseum here and great athletic teams.

Interestingly, younger people worship that Miami attitude that came from the 80's, early 90's. Prior to that team, attitude was discouraged on the football field. If you acted as they did, you were generally yelled at, benched and ran sprints after a game.
In retrospect, that Miami team with so much "Swagga" people adore were actually real life thugs, paid and playing on a dirty program. Maybe it wasn't such a great thing.
Miami will always be remembered by those who were football fans in those days as a dirty program.
