Who cares, fighting a fight that is pointless. Higher ups will decide. Alabama will claim a national title if only the SEC plays. Becomes a dumb season.

The ACC, a good chunk of the Big 12

And once they do, you can go ahead and add all the other P5 teams to the list.

Teams are gonna play. The smart teams at least. Avoiding football does absolutely nothing to avoid the virus. Its a bunch of university presidents too scared of a player getting sick and them being liable that is preventing everyone from playing. If a player wants to sit out for family/health reasons noone is gonna blame them. Give them an extra year of ekigibility. But to cancel the whole season when a lot of student athletes have already proven the environment with the team is a lot lower positivity rate than the outside world is all optics.
