Pastner is a guy that knows everyone in the business and everyone knows him so I guess he can be a good coach. He is a relentless self promoter and suck arse. However he is also a guy that works extremely hard so he could be a John Gruden type that has good experience early at UM and then his players get tired of him. I think that some players will have a tough time taking him seriously, especially following a control freak like calipari.

he was on the arizona teams in the 90's that had bibby and simon. then was an assistant with them. i thought he may end up in arizona as their coach
