Hope this isn't too soon.
Go.

George kicked free agency in the arse in MLB with the salaries he offered players in the modern era.

Al Davis. He changed the system. George just took advantage of the system already in place.

Steinbrenner has had a bigger impact. Davis has just been a laughing stock for the last 10-15 years.

Davis. Without him there is no AFC. Do people really even care about baseball anymore?

Davis. The MLB would still be like it is even without George. Davis Changed the AFL/NFL into what it is today.

you are entitled to your opinion, but those two statements have nothing to do with each other.

Davis..not even close.
This is off topic of impact but just think about this...Davis BUILT a Franchise
Steinbrenner took over a franchise that was already great before him.

If anything, Davis took a great game and made it better. George took a great game and make it shitty.

which one is Davis?

Davis in a landslide. Not even close.

This is a ridiculous question...Al Davis and...this is a ridiculous question. He practically ran the old AFL and was primed to be commish of the NFL...changed the game on the field, changed the game off the field, fought the NFL and in the process improved the rights of teams and players (NFL had some draconian rules)...even in modern times...hired the first minorities.
So GTFO with this ridiculous question. Al Davis is one of the biggest figures in sports history.

I just made a joke at work yesterday with a guy that the Raiders will never be back to the SB with Al Davis alive. Now I feel bad about that.

As much as I hate the man, Davis. And its not close.
