I'll admit, I thought he handled the pitching staff well last year in the postseason but that isn't the norm imho.

The young pitching was pretty great in the post season. Javi was nails until game 6 of the WS but it wasn't winnable

Exactly. Always remember Dusty fricking up pitching in the postseason in the past, but was pretty damn good this past postseason, and even the 2020 postseason wasn’t too bad. I just think he’s done a really good job in Houston so far.

Some may say it doesn't matter, but his lineups drive me crazy. If you fill out a lineup card starting with Jose Siri and Niko Goodrum, given the players at his disposal, I can't take you seriously. Getting your best players the most at bats gives you the best chance to win and he doesn't do that. He whiffs on the easy stuff.

Niko and Siri, and others being in the lineup, has to do with the shortened spring training I believe. Giving them reps early on in the season is not a bad thing at all. Find out what they’re made of right now, instead of in August. Just trying to figure some things out. I think y’all think way too much into that stuff. shite, we’re in 1st place pretty easily right now, and don’t think that’ll change, unless the Angles get their shite together. I could see the Rangers being like Seattle last year, and could give us a scare, but they’re still a year or two away.

Dillon Brooks, he can be 2-14 and he will shoot an irrationally confident contested 3 pointer

I hated that the Braves paid Mike Hampton like $16 million a year for about 4 years to make about 2 starts

McGuire is probably rolling in his grave seeing the house he built sit there empty while our basketball program struggles to get wins.

Though, with his us against the world attitude he probably thinks it serves the university right for some of the way they treated him at the end. I think USC was good to him, but I get why he was upset
