Might as well be 18 and drop to 2 preseason games. They only really play one preseason game anyway.

Pre season NFL games were a complete fraud. Having to pay for them is what made me stop being a season tix customer.
No one plays and the last one is absolutely no starters for more than a series.
And people keep paying while continually hearing about salary cap increases!
So they take the last one and make it a regular season game. And now the players are fighting it!

Add two teams.
Most of the schedule stays the same.
The two fifth place teams, one in each conference, play each conference opponent once. That's the 17th game for the 1-4 teams.
The two 5's have 16 games and play each other for the 17th game.
The London game is one of the parity scheduling games (ie the ones where you don't already know the 2021 opponents). That way you don't miss any opponents in the rotation.
