8 is too many. You'll have multiple 2 loss teams in there. How does that make regular season still as meaningful?

1. no non P5 teams in if they're not gonna play the same game as the big boys

2. every team should be able to lose once without penalty

3. all P5 conference winners get in

4. if Notre Dame wins 10 they're in. If BYU wins 12 they're in

5. the playoff should be 8 teams
