Midwest None, straight chalk the whole way except MSU beating Duke in the Sweet 16

First off, Saint Louis and Memphis are both capable of making it to the Elite 8. Memphis especially is capable of beating Michigan St and Duke. Still see Louisville as the best team in the country but they would have to win 16 straight to win the championship.

VCU beating Michigan and Kansas to get to the Elite 8

Akron isn't a pushover either. They've won their last 10 out of 12 and could win this game against VCU. Still feel like Kansas is playing their best basketball right now to win this region against UF.

Montana over Syracuse (because I think that little of Syracuse)

Definitely could see this happening. Cuse coming off a tough loss and Montana is lights out at shooting.

Marquette over Miami and Indiana to the Final 4

Davidson has won the last 17 games in a row. Louisville knocked them out last year so facing another Big East school in the 2nd round kind of gives Davidson some more fuel. Marquette has a tough out in the first round. Watch out!
I think Indiana faces Miami with Indiana winning.

Kansas State to the Elite 8 because of an easy Sweet 16 match-up, but I could actually see them lose in the first round as well. I think that part of the bracket is shockingly bad.

One of the Big10 schools will be in the Elite 8 here, either Wisconsin or Ohio St. I can see both playing in a rematch for the Final 4. New Mexico should be the favorite.

That would be back to back upsets of UNC and Kansas.

Wouldn't surprise me if Davidson made it to the Sweet 16 instead of Marquette/Butler

As a Duke fan, there were some teams I really didn't want to face like Pitt, Michigan State, and Marquette. If I was a Kansas fan, I would have VCU at the top of the list.

I'm a Louisville fan and wanted to avoid Duke as the 2 seed (didn't think this would be a problem since Louisville was going to be the 1 or 2 overall seed) and did not want Mich St in the same bracket. Absolute joke- makes the regular season even more worthless than it already is. Did they stop trying to match the seeds (best 1/ worst 2)? I dont understand how can you match the worst 1 and 2 together (maybe worst 3 as well) and the best 1 and 2 (Duke might be behind Miami, and likely the best 3.

All Louisville will have to do is survive Saint Louis/Oregon and they'll be in the Final 4. The rest of the region will take themselves out.

I think Duke, Saint Louis, and Michigan State all match up very well with Indiana.

Also Missouri could give them fits in that 1st weekend potential matchup.

Yeah I could see Missouri's athleticism being a factor against Louisville, but Colorado St. beats Missouri. Plus the fact that the games in Lexington, should be an easy weekend for the Cards.

St. Mary's could beat Memphis, if the advance from the First four, and Matt Dellavedova goes off.

Akron isn't beating VCU's press with their best player and point guard in jail.

It's a shame that Nate Wolters and South Dakota State have to play a super quick team like Michigan. I could see Wolters going off against a Wisconsin or K-State.

There's a very slim chance of this happening but if I had to pick a 1 or 2 seed to lose it would be Duke to Albany.

Albany can shoot and they matchup pretty well with Duke. Expect a TON of white dudes on the court for that game. I think the O/U is set at 8.5 for white players on the court at one time.

Hmmm...they only shoot 36.4 percent from 3 and seem to play at a slow pace. I think it will be okay. Duke sucks against teams that penetrate and/or have a dominat 4. Creighton kind of scares me as does Cincy.

If I had to pick a mega-upset, which I don't think will happen this year, I would pick FGCU over Georgetown.

I grew up around America East basketball.

Albany starts three whites, an Aussie and a black guy, whose name is Black (Mike)

They upset Stony Brook in the semis, but I don't think they have a chance against Duke.

Albany is not nearly as athletic as the 2006 squad that nearly upset UConn as a 16-seed

Villanova is terrible.

Maybe if it was down to who had the most little white guys waiving towels on the bench.
