I think this is the most likely finish:

1. LA Lakers
2. Houston
3. Denver
4. Portland
5. San Antonio
6. New Orleans
7. Dallas
8. Utah

Portland should beat Denver at home.

It will be in full gear I'm sure....I am glad this season is over , it has been particularly draining and disappointing to me....I hate losing at anything

It's gonna be pretty epic if it happens. I don't suppose you would be up for another avatar bet huh?

So can the Hornet fans who lost the regular season avatar bet be pardoned until after the Hornets/Rockets series?

If I was on the winning side of that bet I'd allow this.

That's the way I saw it finishing a few weeks ago. I would rather the 3 seed than the 2 if it means we play NO instead of dallas

I was just about to ask you this.. You would rather New Orleans over Dallas even if it means losing home court in Round 2?

i think if the 4 teams are tied,
it would be
houston
portland
denver
san antonio

the first tie breaker is record against the other teams in the tie breaker
the funny thing is if portland and denver were to meet up in this scenario down the road, Denver would have the home court advantage despite being the lower seed.

kind of crazy, i looked into the tie breaker stuff and pretty sure it would work out that way.
there's a set of rules for breaking the 4 way tie, but then a different set determining home court for those 4 teams against each other.

yes but not by a wide margin at all. I just feel like NO with Tyson being limited stands no chance where as a Mavs team with Dirk, Terry, Howard, and Kidd could possibly suprise the Rockets. Not saying we would lose the series but i'd rather take the easier road. Dallas has also won 6 of their last 8 with one of those being a skull fricking of Utah where as N.O. has won only 3 of their last 8 and just looked bad lately. Priority 1 is getting out of the first round this year and get that monkey off their back. After that they can do anything and I actually think we will beat Denver with or without home court if they beat the Mavs.

Any of these three would be fine. We want Denver or Portland in the 1st round, and the Spurs or Denver in the 2nd round.
