Nicklaus said the driver is the most important club in the bag. I tend to agree. You start wearing out fairways and the confidence level increases leading to those darts from 130 in.

Ive never broke 70 but shot under par plenty of times. its been a little while though

As long as I'm playing Black Bear, Mystic Creek, and Calvert, sub 90 is the goal. I might go to one of the lesser courses to flirt with breaking 80. I shot 79 at Pine Hills last year, which was a tough course. Calvert shut it down a few months ago though.

My low round is 62 but that was a long time ago. I have not played a lot the last few years but I did shot under par in three tournaments last year so brgetthenet you can add me to your list. Thanks.

I broke 70 once last year with a 69 in under 2 hours and only the second time ever. I left a couple out there too. Only broke par 3 or 4 times all year though.

I shot 84 in the first round of state last year at Links on the Bayou and three putted 7 times.
