I cant tell you have many times I had parents argue with me over rulings. Im like dude look it up if you want. its like they think their kid should have an exception.

or NO NO you made par there when the kid and the playing partners all said bogey and he/she would flip out on how I, yes I, and trying to screw them over

finally I just said no parents at the scorers table. Some parents were so cool and would joke around with me and talk about how crazy some of them were

Negative. Allow me to explain:

My brother and I show up at 515 for a 545PM tee time (9 holes). He wrote us down on the tee sheet for 545PM and said "if you need more range time, just go ahead, there is no one else on the books."

Proceed to get small bucket of balls and hit on the range. Meanwhile, on the patio is a group of about 8 middle-aged guys and a young punk (flat bill) smoking a cigar all cutting up and laughing so hard it was clearly audible on the range. No worries, I ignore it. Then I hear them talking crap to one another "oh yeah, I'll beat your arse in 9 holes right here, what do you have? put 100 on it? yaddy yada yada."

Finish up range, go to walk to my cart well all of the 8 get on FOUR carts and are about to drive off and I ask them "hey we have a tee time in 4 minutes, are y'all playing or what?" they answer " yeah, its for a lot of money brah". I answer "that is not what I asked, I am asking 1.) if you are playing and 2.) if you are, which set of tees are you going off of .... they all drove off.

I arrive at the first tee and their FOUR frickING CARTS are stacked up. Ok, well, lets turn around and go to #10... I get on the blue tees and are just about to hit and here they come and commence to walking out on the white tees. They act as if I am not about to hit my tee shot. I could not believe it. I said "hey guys I moved over here because y'all were on the first tee" ..the older guy says to me " well NOW we are moving here." . I told him " well I have a tee in the ground with a 545 tee time and am about to hit.. are you serious?" The guys says " you don't have shite and we have this money game to play". So instead of losing it on this piece of shite I had a few choice words and went over to #1 ...... I don't care if you are a member or not, a tee time is a tee time and these guys had already played a round and now they were all drunk doing this.

That is unacceptable.

I have lost all respect for the place. Why even join as a member when it is open to the public? What are you gaining?

I am not up to date on the hip language, but I gather it means they got their way. I was ready to play and instead of commencing to fight them, I wanted to play. When one acts like they did on a golf course it destroys the integrity of the game.

Nothing but the booz.

Last time I played, Scooby and I weren't allowed to play through four old guys who were slow as frick.

Then, when we got to the parking lot, they say thanks for being patient with us today. They never offered to let us play through.

They can have that shithole.

Not kidding. It's a nice hike, but the most laid back course in the area.

Worth the drive, IMO.

ETA: If for nothing else, just to get away from the flatbills in B.R.

Sherwood has a particularly douchey crowd.

They have just enough money to join there, which makes them feel like they've accomplished something.
