Most courses are pretty bad. We are green and fluffy because we are cutting at .130. But we are dropping to .115 next weekend and will get to about 10-10.5 stimp at both courses.

Rule of thumb is don't slide into first. U will get thrown out if it's close.

That's not a bad height to be at, but yeah, a little fluffy compared to what people expect.
Played at a top course in Tennessee last week and their greens were rolling and playing great, just a little slower than you'd expect because they are mowing higher than normal.

I had a discussion on MSB and proved it is acceptable to slide into first sometimes. That was not one of those times

I think that's what Beaver Creek does when they know I'm coming to play. I never putt well on those greens. They always look fuzzy and putt slow
