A Notre Dame guy was waving his hand in front of his face (and looked rather stupid doing it). He got penalized for taunting. It is the same motion that John Cena does.
It looks like a waving motion. Is this supposed to mean something to somebody?

I saw a couple of guys doing it. I couldn't figure it out. Whats the big deal, you can't see me. Is this supposed to be a taunt?
I put it up there with the ridiculous guys jumping banging into each other, like a backwards chest bump.

Waving the hand infront of the face indicates "you cant see me" or the fact that a WR is so good he is untouchable.
