The 91 Redskins are one of the greatest and deepest teams ever. They dominated the league that year. Buffalo was outmatched from the jump in that SB. I don't see them beating them.

Buffalo probably should’ve been better in 91 than they actually were, I think Bruce Smith missed a large portion of that season and their defensive stats declined and they got blown out by the Chiefs on Monday Night at Arrowhead but yeah Joe Gibbs vs Marv Levy is such a big mismatch next to the fact they played the frickING HOGS in the Super Bowl. Plus the Redskins peaked at the right time in the playoffs whereas Buffalo played very inconsistently: great blowout divisional win over KC then a defensive dogfight in the AFC title game which Denver probably should’ve won if Treadwell doesn’t miss 3 FGA and Sewell doesn’t fumble the ball to the Bills down the stretch after they recovered the onside kick. Made all the sense in the world the Redskins would beat them like they did that night.

The next week, the Giants put Montana out of the game early and stole the game.

Montana was not knocked out "early". In fact, the TD pass he through to Taylor in the 3rd Q was the only TD of the game.

Montana was knocked out in the 4th Q. Young attempted only one pass in the game.
