That was an actual final in a men’s college basketball game yesterday. ASU scored 10 points in the first half, and exploded for 19 in the second. Has a Power 5 school ever scored less points in the shot clock era?

I think Va. Tech played a 47-24 game a few years back? Edit: against NC STate.

Just two years ago:
No. 23 NC State lost to No. 12 VT 47-24.
71 points total between two ranked teams.
NC State scored 24 points in the whole game, VT scored 27 in the 2nd half alone.

The box score is brutal. 12 FGs made, 21% fg shooting, 3-26 from 3, 25% from the FT line, 15 turnovers, 4 players 1-8 or worse from the field.

Was an absolutely embarrassing performance. Then again ASU is 2-6. They were supposed to be a good bit better this year. Wondering what kind of leash Hurley is going to get.

I watched some of the Loyola game against ASU, and couldn't believe it was already Hurley's 7th season. They only had 5 assists the entire game, and simply didn't look good.
I can't see how you give him another year unless things turnaround drastically in conference play.
