For me it’s Stanford beating USC in 2007.
Stanford was a 41-point underdog that had not ended a season with a winning record in seven years. The fighting Jim Harbaughs were 1-3 and had lost 41-3 to Arizona State the previous week.
USC was #2 and had a 35-game home winning streak. They ended up 10-2 and missed the BCS championship by 1 game.
If not for this upset, LSU gets locked out of the 2007 championship game vs Ohio State.

Such a wild game. That was the pinnacle of my cfb fandom lol. Don’t know if we will ever have a wilder season especially with the amount of teams that now get in.

Didn't like some people on the team or related to the team die in a plane crash a day or two before the game? That probably had an effect on how they played which probably just makes it a tougher pill to swallow.
