Tough break but probably deserved considering how well their defense played

evan lazar- Bobby Wagner said the #Vikings offense runs the same plays you see on film. #Patriots players said the same thing more or less last week. Minnesota running the same plays every week and teams know whats coming based on film study.

Vikings have maybe the best 1-2 punch WR's in the game with Diggs and Thielen. Very good RB's in Dalvin Cook and Murray, good TE in Rudolph.

Cousins was supposed to be an upgrade. They have been the most underachieving Offense this year.

I don't get firing the assistant. Doesn't Zimmer tell DeFlippo "look run the ball more and run plays by me" or "I want to run more and have a balanced attack". And then DeFlippo says "yes we will do that more"

I mean isn't the HC in charge of everything? I was never on a football coaching staff, but I would assume the OC does what the HC wants.

Zimmer is already calling plays for the defense and has to be on top of everything from a game management standpoint

Asking him to review offensive play calls on top of all that doesn’t really make sense. Thats something you should be able to discuss with the OC and fix during the week, but after 13 weeks of the same issue, maybe he felt the point wasn’t getting across and instead of baby sitting him, he felt he needed to find someone who could do what he asked
