That was gutsy for Houston to go for 2 on that last TD. Now they are getting the ball back and a TD with extra point gives them the lead.

San Diego State’s idiot head coach has been chasing points the entire 2nd half. Left at least 4 easy points on the board and ended up needing 2 scores at the end of the game instead of just 1.
Please, for the love of God, let the point chasing die.

Turnover killed Houston. Game over.

no way Indiana will make the playoffs
I think Ohio State might have a tough time but there is no way Indiana makes it in and even if Oregon wins I don't think the b10 is getting four teams
The bracket will obviously change after them but the only school that has a legit complaint would be Notre Dame getting locked out of a bye. I think the committee will give them a "makeright" by sending the Big 12 champions to South Bend.
If you want to argue about SOS and these auto bids, perhaps the next move by these enlarged conferences is a mini playoff. Dump one of the non-conference games, move up everything else a week, and hold a semi-final round of the top 4 teams over Thanksgiving weekend at the home of the top two seeds. Amongst getting rid of the SOS argument, this would also nearly assure that the top 4 seeds in the national playoff would have hosted a postseason game at home (and those that hadn't still be rewarded with an extra week off test).
