So, was going for 2 the right call?

35-30 now. Had they kicked EP its 35-31. Then 2 options:

Unlv scores next TD now up 36-35 and have to go for 2 again to get 3 point lead. If kick both EPs it would be 38-35

If Kan scores FG they are now up 38-30 and it forces Unlv to go for 2 if score TD

But they at least have the chance to go for 2. I understand they wanted to get it to a 3 point game but felt with 12 minutes left it was too early to chase. But maybe not

Welp, now its 42-30, so that requires 2 TDs vs 1 TD, 2 pointer and FG. Had they went for 1 then its 11 points and more doable

And honestly it doesn’t matter Unlv is not coming back its just an excercise in when to start chasing points.

You whiffed on the point. They didn’t favor just Kansas they favored the staying teams. And punsihed the leaving ones.

I never said they were why we lost - I replied to your post where you said you won in spite of refs (so I posted penalties in our game we had 11 to your 5). Each time I replied to your post.

I did say Kamsas was undisciplined and the penalties seem to back that up.
