Go find someone posting about WBB on this board from 2017 and you’ll see all the comments ripping on the sport

You clearly didnt see the game. Sure SC was physical, but if they called it closer, Reese would have had atleast 2 flagrants from Elbows/Hair pulling. Sure Cardoso probably gets some too, but I promise you with our depth...LSU having foul trouble would have hurt them more. The game being called loosely benefitted LSU in this case.
You can't make the case SC was overly physical and fouled, and not say LSU did the same. Even Mulkey said it... "We're gonna foul their arse, They are gonna foul our arse".

They absolutely did. It was State and SC that were in the national title that year, and the comments were not kind. Which is funny because the same ones that rip WBB are all over womens gymnastics or softball. For some it's all about what their school is good at.
