How do they have 3 bye weeks? Is this normal?

Good plan.
The huge delay the Big XI has after its season hasn't helped the Buckeyes the last two years. Ending the season earlier isn't an advantage its a disadvantage on multiple fronts.

if you're not going to have a conference champ game you shouldnt be allowed to take an extra bye week in my opinion. sure you'll have an extra week for the bowl game then everyone else but thats much more fair then giving a team an extra bye week during the season.

Seems like some schools do a good job scheduling while others don't. Change your scheduling if you don't like it.

schools in the big 10 have no excuse. but school without conference championship games shouldnt be allowed to take an extra bye week during the season just because they dont have to play that game. they should be forced to end the regular season the same week as schools in conferences with championship games.

Big10 is suppose to shortly end their regular season Thanksgiving weekend instead of how most end the weekend before now. Not sure how this will effect the OSU/Michigan game though which is what I'm most interested in.

Or if you want to have an extra game in the conference (CCG), you have to use the bye week. The NCAA isa not going to extend the seaon only for those teams.
