Didn't get to see it but that had to just be a total choke job...you absolutely CAN'T give up a point in an end when you have the hammer, especially in the 11th

Wow, I thought we for sure had this one in the bag

Shitty start yes. But we still have seven more games to get into the medal round.

Tomorrow:

Morning - USA women vs. Germany
Afternoon - USA men vs. Switzerland
Evening - USA women IDLE

Top 8 out of 10 make the knock out rounds right?

We only have to beat out two teams, but we'd have to play the best team in the quarterfinals. We'll turn it around and end up in the middle of the pack. We have a pretty good team... just a rough day.

No, only four make it. It sucks, but we aren't completely dead.

Last year's four:

Finland 7-2
Canada 6-3
USA 6-3
Great Britain 6-3

In an interesting "pressure" story: Shuster only shot 75% as the lead in the bronze medal game in 2006. Team still shot 87% in spite of him and won 8-6 for third place.

yeah it seemed tonight that everyone else was shooting better than Shuster. Dont understand that. Still hopefully we can turn things around
