You'd think they could come up with a signal a little less conspicuous than a swimmer's diving motion.

Players in soccer who blatantly dive can get a yellow card so they're risking missing the next game if they've got a yellow on them already. Basketball is also getting serious about habitual floppers. There are consequences, even if they don't get enforced enough.

I have a problem with it being a bitch tactic, but it's always happened and will continue to until there's a real reason not to.
