The announcers even noted that a lot of the audience had already left before the match started

Ok Cilic… I see you.

Oh wait I don’t. I see Ashleigh Barty.

This is probably the most surprising match so far with Cilic

I don't think it's surprising that he's winning. I think it is surprising he's doing it rather easily.

He may be emerging as the favorite to come out of the bottom side of the draw if he can finish off this match. I'd certainly take him over Fed at this point.

ETA: Aaaaaand Medvedev breaks

Daniil finally got over the hump of winning a 5-setter in February after going 0-6 before that. Looks like he’s about to pick up win #2.

Honestly feel sorry for Cilic. Guy is so talented and cannot get out of his own way mentally.

Medvedev is probably my favorite international player outside the big 3, so him winning helps with the Fritz loss Hopefully Korda can win next round

Wasn’t aware that this will be the last Middle Sunday. Guess Monday won’t be as Manic now.

Tomorrow is great and all, but when there is a lot of rain, it puts a lot of stress on the tournament to get the third round done by Saturday. I'd rather have another day on the weekend to watch matches. I wonder if they will have men's and women's matches on the same day in the second week or continue to stagger them.

Not seeing many lines I like tomorrow. Frickstick looks like decent value, that's about it. I don't love these matches other than maybe Alex/FAA. Hurkacz is rock solid, but I don't see him beating Medvedev. Coco/Kerber is the match of the day IMO. The quarters should be tasty.

I'm excited for the Korba match. I would love for an American to make the semis. We've been deprived for so long

Yeah, I take that back. Some good stuff has been pushed to the outer courts with all 16 playing on both sides. Sebi/KK is very solid. RBA/Shapo, who do you pick with your life on the line? Berrettini and two women's round of 16 are out on Court 12. I watched some dorky guy go through the matches and he wasn't too profound, but kind of like one of us just riffing. He thought Ivasha is the one guy who could pull a shocker. Ivashka did give Fed trouble early in Halle.
Gil Gross on Manic Monday.

This is actually the last year Wimbledon is doing that. Starting next year they will be playing on Middle Sunday.

Close your eyes and throw a dart

I don't think Berrettini loses tomorrow, but at this point, any "upsets" (outside of Djokovic) wouldn't surprise me

Didn’t watch the vid yet but I can’t get behind this. Berrettini has a huge 1st serve, solid 2nd, forehand bombs, one of the better slice backhands, likes to chip and charge, great hands at net, etc. Not only is Ivashka inferior but he’s also less experienced in slams. Bad combo for an upset.

I’d be looking more at Rublev on upset alert since he has none of the above in his bag except a huge forehand. And fricksticks has some slam experience at least.

Of course nothing I’ve said guarantees anything. Both will probably win, but I like my chances a lot better fading Rublev.

ETA: Seems like he knows his stuff. The only beef I had was when he said Rublev will be the best server Fucs has faced. Not sure if he meant that or if it was an oversight, but I would take Sinner over Rublev in that regard.
