Kracka, Carolina fans are in for a rude awakening, they're not even as good as last year's matador D version. And now have their PG with a broken wheel..
UNC will not make the Final Four without the refs screwing somebody royal for the Heels to advance..and stand an even smaller chance in the Final Four should they make it.
If the Heels win it all, I will be very surprised, despite their being one of the top two or three rosters in NCAA Hoops.
Hansbrough's days on the NCAA gravy train are numbered, once in the NBA the bailouts by refs are over for him. His right at rim level and slightly above are gonna make him a journeyman..a white Baby Davis. Time to join Matt Harpring and Josh McRoberts in carving out some playing time.

They had an equally impressive roster last year too, and year before. It's just potential, as winning or losing in the end..it's fruit. They've come up short once among the elite.
Their D hasn't improved much. For the hype and expectations of having their starters return, their level of play this year, even when healthy and at it's peak, has lacked, as early wins at MSU, and latter at Duke, have been somewhat diminished by those teams showing to be short of elite despite their resumes.
Louisville, Pitt, and UConn prior to Dyson going down, all have played at equal and/or higher levels this year. Not that Carolina can't take down any of them, they can, as they should being 3/1 preseason NCAA Champ chalk with all starters back, and -250 to win the ACC preseason.
I bet them for ACC, but not NCAA.

Mediocre and vulnerable #2 seeds..beatable..but this is a down year in terms of elite teams and dominance outside the Big East elite, Carolina out of the ACC, and Memphis.
This isn't last year, or year prior with Fla and Ohio St,etc..
As despite the gaudy records, most of the top seeds in this tourney are not above been taken down in their second games going forward.
