I never went to LSU. I will root for LSU during the Butler game, but I cannot in good conscience root against UNC. I have been a fan too long, and I just can't do it. It was really tough for me to root in LSU's favor in the CWS last year. I was able to keep it rather neutral there.

Had Lawson been playing crappy, and gimping around I would agree with you. But he has been tearing teams up. He is the ACC POTY. It's obvious he was injured for the second half of conference play, and he absolutely killed people.
On top of that, he tore up the tournament last year with a fricked up ankle. I find it hard to believe his toe will slow him down enough for LSU to win.

I think UNC is as bad a matchup as anyone, but it IS a basketball game. LSU CAN win the game. I mean UNC did lose to teams like Maryland, FSU, and Boston College. IT CAN HAPPEN. I just don't think it will.

I don't think Maryland is better then LSU and the other 2 are negligible when WE ARE HEALTHY.

I'm hoping Q Thornton is the starter or at least plays a ton. If somehow some way he stays out of foul trouble I can see him frustrating TH with the physical play coming back at him.

LSU fans are in for a rude awakening if they are throwing their hopes for an upset on Lawson's big toe. That's all I am going to say. I have said this till I was carolina blue in the face. LSU better keep their eyes on Thompson, Davis and Zellar.
