I think your defense was more indicative of how good ulm is offensively. Y’all played us better than most sunbelt teams did last year and this offense (on paper anyway) is better. Our defense was horrendous a lot of the night (most of which I’m hoping can be attributed to playing a good qb but I guess we’ll see) and Ford has his head up his arse. It scares me that this seems to be a sign of not getting up enough for a game especially with all the hype that has been around this team.

On another note this next ad hire needs to be a home run or else athletics at ulm is going to be in some deep deep shite. So many people are jumping off the bandwagon.

Pedro, I truly admire your enthusiasm for ULM athletics as i am an alumni and support them also as you. But, having said that i need to know my President and Athletic Director both are on the same page before i dump my money into that program.

Tonight was NOT a good night for ULM at all. If there is a bad win, then this is one. It isnt going to attract anyone or instill confidence that anything has changed, to the contrary in fact.

Then i find out from an ULM employee associated with ULM athletics, and the school, with tenure as long as anyone teaching or working at the school in any facet, that they are tearing the grove down and putting the med school up in its place. The tailgating will take place over around back on asphalt like going and getting cooked at a LA Tech game.

Everything is backwards out there. I give up.

I mean I don’t think losing the grove is the end of the world as long as they have a solid alternative. The led school is a good ad fro the university. I wish they would have just gone off campus with it like the pharm school but it is what it is.

I think this is a prime example of Bruno doing great for the university on one end and then shitting on it on the other end though.

I agree with everything else you said however. Having competed at ULM for four years it’s disheartening to see the athletic program nose dive like it has after the short up tick we had in the early-mid part of the decade. I feel like most of us that competed there worked hard to build up something in our respective sports and in the other sports through building support and now it just seems like there’s just a bunch of apathy about everything there.

This has been public knowledge for several months. Surely I’m reading this wrong and you knew before tonight
