So apparently Brown could've tried to make weight again and misunderstood whatever the AC told him.

Well Brown has never missed weight and was going to cut the rest of the weight but the CSAC wouldn't let him. They also wouldn't let Juiliana Lima.

Pretty strange.

Ya, no fines or penalties either. Super odd.

So Fox isn't even showing the prelims where I live. What a joke....

That sucks! BTW how old was Lawler when he entered the UFC, I remember seeing him at UFC 40!

This is apparently along the lines of what happened:

Brown: "I can lose that weight easily, give me 30 minutes."
CSAC: "I don't know about that."
Brown: "Okay."

Hence the reason for no fine. Strange that a veteran like Brown would have a misunderstanding like that though.

Or fighting Nick Diaz at UFC 47 or 48.

Edit: Those 2 need to fight again.

Wow, Brown's gym and training in Ohio look very rustic. He seems like a good dude. Didn't Brown have trouble with addiction in the past?

Watching the countdown show, it was almost like Drago vs. Balboa in terms of training technique. I know they only show a small snippet, but Lawler's training at ATT looks way more modern/advanced/technical.

Oh shite, I thought Cummins had been sent back to Sandusky's basement after that Cormier disaster.

Disaster? You know how many wolf tickets the UFC sold based on him beating DC one time in practice??

They owe him.... Big

He still a really good prospect. His performance looked just as most 4-0 fighters would look against DC.

He hasn't for like five years.

He was with Hughes at H.I.T.
Then in Arizona
Now at ATT

They hyped him hard no doubt. His mouth was writing checks his arse couldn't cash.

He doesn't seem anymore humble than before the Cormier fight. Maybe the UFC sees him as a heel that can be used to legitimize guys that have potential to be a draw.

First time I saw him was at UFC 37.5. I think he was like 19.

Yep. Kingsbury worked on his tan more than prepping for this fight.
