this guy had just made a lot of new fans two weeks ago with his antics of bringing in his girlfriend as his only cornerman coach in a decisive win on ESPN. as well as his comical post-fight rant about taxes went viral.

who knows what the full story is, but this video doesn't do him any favors. what a dumbass.

How long before he gets in trouble for dropping the N-bomb even though it has the soft A?

He claims he’s 2% black so he can “legally say it”

That's what I took from the video. He sounds slow.

Looked like the old dude tried to charge him after Mike said "Bitch I'll knock your old arse out too you fat POS."

No. His girlfriend can be seen in the first few seconds walking out in front of them. The girl he is arguing with works at that restaurant/bar and apparently knew him as well beforehand.

any of you near Lubbock familiar with this place?

'Platinum' Mike Perry -- a star in the UFC -- punched an elderly man in the face at a Texas restaurant Tuesday night in a violent, angry rage ... and the entire incident was caught on video.

Perry and his GF were leaving Table 82 restaurant in Lubbock, TX while arguing with staffers and other patrons ... and dropping n-bombs in the process

as he should. regardless if someone "touches" you or whatever his reasoning was, you can't as a professional fighter go around knocking people out anytime you get upset about something.

Perry has been a polarizing figure in the UFC for most of his time, but two weeks ago he finally turned the tide and received a lot of fan support for the comedy he brought with him and for backing it all up with a big win. his social media following soared to almost 600k followers in less than a week after that fight and there was a lot of hype to get him vs Nate Diaz next.

well, he just threw all of that away with this stupid shite. wouldn't be surprised if Dana cuts him from the roster by the weekend.

Real life isn't the Octagon.

What you can do in there is jail time outside of it.

I'm still surprised how some athletes get a pass for committing battery in their game when that's not a part of your game.

UFC, beat the crap out of the guy all you want.

Basketball, cold-cocking a guy like Parish did to Lambiere or Malice at the Palace to fans...uh, that's not part of the sport. That's just simple civilian battery, who gives a crap that you're wearing a jersey.

That dude in the NFL who started slamming the QB in the head with a helmet trying to bludgeon, shite, he should still be in jail right now.

Oh but he's an athlete and it's in the heat of the moment of a sport. That's not part of football.
