im all up in here
i think Cormier wins by TKO in 2nd Round, and, rather easily...i think barao wins also...not as easily, but i think he wins
im exited to see those two fights

Sure.
You are a complete idiot if you think they can pick and choose the judges.
The UFC can't even do that and Dana is always publicly admonishing and shaming judges and referees
You have some insider info? Or just spewing uninformed bullshite?

You know anything about Aaron Phillips?
Posted on 5/24/14 at 8:59 am to Maximus
Yes I know him
Tim asked me to come spar with him for his last few weeks of training camp, but before that I had trained with him in regular class settings and credeurs gym
I will parallel and contrast he and Poirier at the point that Dustin was ready to enter the UFC.
First of, Dustin is bigger and stronger than Aaron, and the thing that stuck out in my mind immediately about Dustin the first time I ever sparred him was toughness. Dustin was a kid about 17 or so and just starting out, and I was in the UFC. I'm an inside fighter, and I hit very hard for my size. Anyway, Tim asked me to test him, so I backed Dustin into a corner and unleashed on him with hooks to the body and uppercuts to the chin and rocked him hard. I fully expect when I do that to a 17 year old kid that he crumbles in that corner, instead Dustin hit me with a straight left that backed me clean off of that corner and he came out seemingly unfazed.
I was like "damn this kid is tough as nails and he hits like a truck."
Aaron is not that type of fighter. Aaron is, however, much cleaner, faster, and more innovative with his striking than Dustin was as an undefeated pro. Aaron is hard to get inside on because he will fire long knees from space to you midsection as you try to close the distance with great speed and accuracy.
On the ground he is not as talented as Dustin but can definitely hold his own and is a great scrambler; he is an athlete.
Another thing that is impressive about Aaron is his judo/Greco game from the clinch. He is less likely to drop for singles or shoot double legs on you than Dustin, but he will hit you with a quick knee then judo throw you on your head before you know what's going on
I think he will be fine if he gets over the initial shock of taking that cage walk under the lights. Fortunately for him his debut is early in the card. Less time for nerves to strike hard and the atmosphere in the arena is more subdued earlier in the cards

Dillashaw will be Barao's toughest fight.

I hope Lawler KOs Ellengberger then fights Matt Brown.

I thought about him because he just did a Poirier one, and I know he's a popular guy on here.

I hope he gets another chance after tonight. Saw him fight at USA MMA Night of Champions 2 in Lafayette a couple of years ago. He looked pretty promising.
Just got home, so I missed his fight against Sicilia. Looks like he won a round on a couple of judges score cards. Hope Dana gives him another fight.
