How much trouble is Rashad in?

I don't see anywhere where he has a chance. Jones will outwrestle Rashad, which is generally Rashad's strength. Rashad is only 5' 11", when they are standing Jones will be able to strike way out of Rashad's range.

Silva has the head movement and hand speed to strike with jones, but what happens when he gets his arse thrown to the ground?

exactly...in the 3rd round Jones literally just slung Shogun to the ground like he was nothing

Dang did Forest take a dive? that looked like a weak left jab and he flew back like he was shot out of a cannon. When I watched this PPV i was at BWW so I didn't really see it close up.

Nope. Just got his arse beat.

exactly... I truly think its going to take another freak athlete coming in to derail him.

I think the floodgates might be about to open with truly great athletes coming into MMA.

American athletes are training mma now and people with basketball type bodies are going to impact the sport big time.

I'd objectively give Rashad a 5% chance...no way in hell he's going to get a shot in on JJ

Machida waits for guys to come to him, thats what he gets criticized for. I think it looked like a different fight because Shogun wasn't hunting down his opponent, he was just trying to survive while Jones beat him everywhere.

Exactly.

I'd give it a like 2% chance even if rashad gets jones on his back he wont be able to get a clean shot because jones legs are so long he can keep rashad back

Fighters who can beat jones

Machida
Silva
265 heavyweights

That's it.

I don't think there is a shot in hell that Machida can get close enough to Jones to beat him...Jones has a 10.5 reach advantage on Lyoto

And that's what I saw when i first watched it but that just looked like a weak jab. Though I have definitely seen people get dropped by less. And with that fight it could have been an accumulation of punches thing because Silva tagged him with ease that night.

Machida is the most elusive fighter at 205 with a BJJ black belt. He is also one of the most precise.

Shogun had Jones back TWICE and took him down once and it was lucky.

Wow. That is silly. Jones may have 10 pounds on rua. Lesnar had at least 30 on Randy.

I'm expecting a pretty big backlash from longtime hardcore MMA fans at the attention JJ is about to get.

Seriously? That is crazy. Maybe somewhat missleading watching that gif with all the lag I am getting but he definitely hit the mat hard. And I definitely don't doubt Silva's power at all.
