That will put a stop to that shite.

thanks eli

Lyoto was freaking rigid while lying on the ground. Kind of funny in that the first hook that sent him down didnt really get through his arm.

Cutting Daley was the right move, but I would turn into a huge Dana White fan if he'd just cut Koshchek too. He's just awful TV. Most boring fighter in the sport, prone to dramatics, just cut him.

I may be mistaken, but i think i heard Dana say he was cutting Kimbo as well. That would be crazy IMO. Hes a huge draw.

What's really fricked up is the shot by Daley after the fight will overshadow Kos faking like a little bitch like he got hit by a knee while he was still "down".

He's far from the most boring fighter in the sport. Also let him get his punk arse kicked before you give him the boot. I am not a gsp fan, but I hope he mops the floor with Koscheck.

I would have been tempted to take the shot too. Against any other fighter no, against Koshchek though you have to use the invisible scales, my career versus a chance to deck this douchebag, hmm.

Oh noes the rolling eyes smilie I wasn't really being serious man. I don't think he should cut him. He's undeniably dull though. And a drama queen.

Just got back.

My thoughts...

I'm still in denial over Shogun. He looked so much like shite against Griffin, especially against Mark Coleman and didn't look all that great against Chuck until he caught him.

But he looked great this time out against Machida.

If some of you think Koscheck should be cut because he is a boring douche then just watch Gray Maynard. Jon Fitch if not more so. Fitch seems like an alright guy though.

I'm glad Dana stepped up and cut Daley besides he had no business being on the same planet as GSP anyway.

Enough already with the Brits and the UFC trying to give them title shots. Learn wrestling then we might let you hang out for a while.

Kimbo got beat by an ex-football player who's pro record was 1-0. RIP the myth of Kimbo for good. He should have went into acting and followed the Mr. T role.

Boxing's BY FAR biggest draw had a thread STICKIED for three days and it went 14 pages. No sticky here and this is 26 pages deep. I rest my case with all do respect to boxing.

Mayweather vs. Mosley

His knee was very fricked up in the Griffin fight, and he was coming off major knee surgery for the Cole man fight. Hes young and hes the real deal man.

Mayweather-Mosley had about 1.2-1.5 million PPV buys though. This won't do anywhere near that. MMA's definitely the faster growing sport. But boxing's far from dead.

All you have to do is look at Shouns history to understand that he is the real deal.

A few flukey, opening UFC fights under his belt, and he is hear to stay.

UFC 116 will do bare minium 1.5 million buys. I say 1.7-2.0 million buys.

That's why I said boxing's by far biggest draw. It's not comparing apples to apples because the UFC didn't bring their leading men.

This one did over a million though

biggest draw of what? the year?

a manny vs mayweather fight is boxing's biggest draw. Plus you've got a younger demo on this message board who will be more inclined to MMA. MMA is definitely on the rise but boxing is nowhere near dead and is still more enjoyable when done the right way.

The first Machida-Rua fight did about 500 thousand, this will probably do more but I'd be very surprised by a million. Mayweather doing 1.2-1.5 is actually lower than they'd thought but Mosley, for whatever reason, has never been much of a draw. I'm not sure what Mayweather-Pacquaio would do, 2.5-3 million or so probably. Maybe more. Obviously those are the two biggest fighters in the sport so I'm not comparing it to this card.

I love both sports so I don't really care. Anyone can see MMA has more buzz. But boxing does far better than some people think it does.

Boxing's problem, among other things, is they don't put together complete cards with great undercards. They could but promoters don't think its worth the investment when there's a big name to carry the card on the main event.

You don't want to bring boxing into this because a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight would destroy any MMA fight right now. Not to mention, I was excited more in the 2nd round of the Mayweather/Mosley fight than any period of time during than the UFC 113 entire main card.
